Free University of Bozen
The Free University of Bolzano was founded in 1997 with an international and multilingual vocation (German, Italian, English and Ladin). Unibz has five faculties with a high percentage of teachers (35%) and students (17%) from abroad who study, teach and do research in the fields of economics, natural science, engineering, social sciences, education, design and arts. 4,100 students are enrolled in more than 30 undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The training offer and research projects are connected to international and interregional networks – for example, within the Euregio, with the Universities of Innsbruck and Trento – and are oriented towards high quality standards.
University of Trieste
The Department of Engineering and Architecture (DIA) of the University of Trieste is a community of people with different roles and skills who work in synergy to spread skills, experimental techniques, ideas and projects in order to contribute to the transformations of our time. Through its educational offer, it prepares students to become the future; thanks to its quality of research, it produces scientific knowledge to be transferred to the labor market and to civil society using new ideas made available to actors operating in the sectors of government and planning of cities and territories, industry, business and cultural investments.

At our research group ENABLE for health, care and inclusion we focus on two central areas of life that affect almost everyone: Health and inclusion. When one of these areas is compromised, it can significantly affect quality of life, independence and functional capacity. Our work aims to meet these challenges through innovative approaches and to develop solutions that have an immediate impact on people’s everyday lives. We focus on participatory research or pursue an open innovation in science approach in order to develop real-world solutions, that can be accepted by the target groups and sustainably anchored in everyday life.

Founded as a System Integrator, Eureka System specializes in providing tailor-made solutions for the manufacturing industry and special projects. With extensive experience in automation, robotics, and software development, the company has built its technical expertise across a wide range of fields. Driven by the mission to design and implement interconnected systems that seamlessly integrate into their own environments, Eureka System develops custom software and integrates advanced technologies to address very specific technical challenges.
Fondazione ProgettoautismoFVG
Fondazione Progettoautismo FVG was founded in 2006, as an association, thanks to the commitment of a group of parents of children with autism to offer each other mutual support.
Thanks to the trust and support of many entities and people, the day care center Home Special Home was opened in 2017 – a real home for autism of 2.700 m2 with 5.000 m2 of open area – that aims to build a real life project for people with autism.
Currently, the Foundation has become a research center, supports almost 100 families and it has become a benchmark for those who face daily the problems of autism.

The focus of the Health Technologies department is on integrating innovative technologies with trends in medicine, healthcare, and sports. We aim to develop products and services that maintain and restore health, promote sports in society, and support athletes in achieving top performances.
